Dear Dave & Dave,
Just got done listening to you freaking funny guys play a couple cuts from my new CD “Shine”. It’s folks like you that keep things rolling and sales coming in for us local musicians who have a story to tell and want people to hear it. Shine has really been a labor of Love. The actual cuts that you played That;s Alright and What Does IT Take To Make You A Man (long title) very important lyrically. While I was raised in SoCal my life here now is quite different as well you may know. Shine is really a lament for my life with my loving wife Debbie and my children Amy & Shaun and now Shaun’s wife Kristina and our new grandson Julian. On Shine you will hear the culmination of the styles of music I have played over my musical career. And again what you guys do whether you know it or not is a great service to us Singer/Songwriter types. When Debbie suggested that I send you guys my stuff I though hey that would be great kinda like introducing myself to you both through my music. Just one small point if I may. What you played was the Lynn Brown CD “Shine” with accompanying parts by my bandmates for some 26 years Michael Loomis on Lead and rhythm guitars, Ron Adams on Drums (That’s Alright) and Ed Feifert on Bass guitar and on other tracks Dobro and acoustic guitar. My band Stranger does a few originals that I penned but we are a cover band. This my friends was produce and written solely by myself. Just trying to clear up some confusion I may have started this wasn’t and isn’t available as a Stranger CD only as Lynn Brown “Shine” . Anywho I taped the show tonight and posted it on “Soundcloud” hope it brings you more fans and me maybe a sale or two for me as well.
Peace & Love,
Playing and having some fun on KZFR 90.1 Saturday Feb 9th On the Brad Peterson show Studio 416 1:30-3:00P.M.
Tune in and hear my new material and what’s up this year for me and you.
Thanks so much Jeremy Votava for taking the time to express so beautifully the life behind my music. And for giving the CD “Shine” some needed exposure. ZRock will always be special to me for this. Long live rock.

Happy New Year from my family to yours. I wanted to update you a to a few things.
1. Sales of my first new CD in 5 years go well thanks to you and your friends. I hope everyone is starting to sing some of the songs from ‘SHINE’ but if not go back and revisit it again and you might be saying “I love that disc” play it again….OK WELL JUST A SIMPLE THANKS TO YOU AND YOURS. I will also be releasing my second CD called “Last Rose Of The Season” an all acoustic CD with harmonies and maybe some Bass guitar on a few but mostly just songs I have written and sung for the past few years. I am dedicating it to my late Mother Alvina P. Brown. If you want to hear the songs just go to my website at www.lynnbrownmusic.com and click music in the menu and both Shine and Last Rose are their for you to hear and buy. Last Rose will be out late January. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT,
P.S. I’m working on a cd release party for both CD’s in February 2013

Just been spending the weekend re-learning how to use Photoshop and the software online to upload my artwork for “Shine” the first of my 2 new CD’s.
Looks great in the online 3D display thing but I’ll wait to see. I can’t shake the idea that I missed something or something was crooked or whatever.
Here’s hoping it comes out good. Now to figure out loading the wav. files. Seems the masters I have are .cda files.
Anyway Amy shot some photo’s and worked them out for me tonight so I now need to go through those to start working on CD # 2 “Last Rose”
I’ll keep you posted.
New background is only temp… trying to figure out how to place a larger photo in there instead of tiling it…but I played with this photo taken at an acoustic jam after hours party with Stranger New Years Eve I think 2010. If you have any suggestions for me as to how to work that in wordpress let it flow on me.
